We Love HTBC Kids!
We place a huge priority on impacting the lives of children with the Word of God, the love of God, and the gospel of Jesus Christ from the very earliest stages of childhood development.
Programs include Sunday morning Life Groups for kids, kid’s church, AWANA on Wednesday nights, and special events and activities like Preteen Camp and VBS.
The first Sunday of each month is Family First Sunday. On these days our kids are in the sanctuary where they can worship together with their families. On the others Sunday of the month our kids have their own service in the kid’s wing.

From checking your child in, all the way to the end of their class: we'll be there!
WILL I NEED TO FILL OUT AN INFORMATION FORM?
On your first visit we will have a form to fill out to tell us about your family, any special concerns that you might have, and how to get in touch with you in case an emergency arises. Please arrive a few minutes before the service begins to give you time to fill out the information form.
HOW DO I CHECK-IN MY CHILD?
At Highland Terrace, we value the security and safety of your children at all times, which is why we have a secure check-in system in place. At your first visit, you will receive identification tags with matching security numbers. Your child will wear one tag while in class, and you will keep the other until it is time for your child to be picked up. We have an easy to use computerized check in system that you will use once your information has been entered. This system generates tags for you and your child(ren) with a code that changes every week.
If we need to contact you during a service, we will text or call you. We ask that you keep your phone with you and bring the tags to the kids welcome desk if you receive a text.
HOW AND WHERE DO I PICK UP MY CHILD?
Once the service has ended, preschool aged children will be picked up where you dropped them off and elementary aged children will be in the Kids Church room. You will be asked to show your parent pick-up tag, which will be matched to your child's tag. From there, your child will be released to you along with any other take-home materials related to the lesson.
WHO WILL MY CHILD DURING LIFE GROUPS AND WORSHIP?
Your child will spend time with our amazing leaders. Everyone on the kids' team has gone through a thorough orientation process which includes an in-depth review of our safety and security policies, age-level training, and a background check.
